Body of Christ LLC operates bodyofchristtx.com and Body of Christ Faith & Fitness at 14242 Northwest Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78410. This policy explains what we collect, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it.

What we collect

We only collect information you give us on purpose. We do not buy lists and we do not collect information about you from other companies.

When you fill out a form on this site — your first and last name, phone number, email address, and anything you choose to write in an optional message box.
When you contact us by phone, email or text — whatever you tell us, plus a record of the conversation so the next person who talks to you knows where things stand.
When you become a member — the information needed to run a membership. Payments are handled by our payment processor, not by us; we do not store your card number.
Basic site analytics — pages visited and general location, the ordinary information a website records. This is not tied to your name.

What we do with it

Contact you about the free pass, a class, or a question you asked us
Schedule and run your training
Manage your membership and billing
Send you gym news and offers, but only if you asked for those

That is the whole list. We do not use your information to build a profile of you or to target you anywhere else on the internet.

Text messages

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

If you tick a consent box on one of our forms, you are agreeing to receive text messages from Body of Christ Faith & Fitness at the number you gave us. The two boxes are separate on purpose:

Non-marketing messages — class schedules, replies to your questions, reminders about a class you signed up for.
Marketing messages — special offers, event announcements and class updates. You have to opt in to these separately.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect your membership or your ability to train with us.

Who else sees it

We share your information only with the companies that help us run the gym, and only so they can do that job:

Our customer management and messaging platform, which stores contacts and sends our email and texts
Our payment processor, for membership billing
Our email delivery provider

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not trade it. If we are ever required by law to hand something over, we will, but that is the only other circumstance.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets a small number of cookies and stores similar information in your browser. They come from the website platform we use to run the site, and they do two jobs: keep pages and forms working, and recognise that a form you submit came from the visit you were already having, so we can reply to the right person.

For traffic counts we use our hosting provider's privacy-friendly analytics, which reports how many people visited which pages. It does not follow you to other websites.

We do not run advertising or social media tracking pixels on this site. There is no Google Ads tag, no Facebook or Instagram pixel and no TikTok pixel. Nothing here is used to build an advertising profile of you or to retarget you elsewhere on the internet.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block them, parts of the site — our forms in particular — may stop working properly.

How long we keep it

As long as you are a member, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. If you want your information deleted, ask us and we will delete it, except anything we are legally required to keep.

How we protect it

Anything you send through this website travels over an encrypted connection. Your information is stored in our customer management platform, which keeps it behind password-protected accounts and industry-standard safeguards. Access is limited to the owners and the staff who need it to do their job, and we remove access when someone leaves.

We are honest about the limits here: no website or database is perfectly secure. If we ever learn that your information has been exposed, we will tell you.

Your choices

Stop texts — reply STOP to any message from us.
Stop emails — use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.
See what we have — ask us and we will tell you.
Have it deleted — ask us and we will do it.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them online. If you believe a child has given us information through this site, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
